Last night's episode was full of surprises, I definitely enjoy every little bit of it. Definitely way better than last week's episode. 'Now Hear This' features strong opinions, the support of friends & fan-favourite duo 'Jonnor' takes part in a major TV moment that will be remembered forever.
For instance, Jude, as straight forward as he is, told Connor that he was confused about the mixed signals he gave to him & also revealed to us, what happened on the tent; Connor kissed Jude. When he heard it, he looked him right in the eye & kissed him. Ladies & gentlemen, that was the youngest same sex kiss on TV ever, performed by talented actors & best friends in real life Gavin MacIntosh & Hayden Byerly, the chemistry those two have is undeniable & its what makes the scenes between those two pure, profound & sincere. I'm looking forward to keep contemplating the evolution of the relationship between those two, meanwhile they figure out things.
It seems Brandon is preparing himself to make a big decision; going on tour with 'Someone's Little Sister' or away to a classical music camp. He now has the sufficient cash to do whatever he pleases to do, hope he chooses what its best for his musical future. He's indeed talented & needs the right push to shine.
Even tough Callie has some issues of her own, she always has time to give a helping hand to her friends, on this case she & Rita teamed up to help Kiarah, who escaped & worked in the streets as a prostitute. She did not want to be helped, Callie used to be a runaway girl, that's why she knew the feeling of wanting help, but not being able to ask for it. Proving she's a true friend, she helped her get back on her feet & now things will be better for her. Also, she confessed to Stef that she choose to go live with Robert, because of what was happening with Brandon. With that big reveal out in the open, it's pretty official that the fight for Callie will start soon.
On the other hand, Jesus is a very responsible brother, he let aside his professional aspirations, because of Mariana's feelings towards multiple disappointments. He's acting very maturely & we thank him for that. What's great is that she found out about it & will encourage him to go & follow his dreams, because it is what it's best for his academic life.
In conclusion, everything felt real, I was amused to see how I cared for each of the characters. The Fosters is one of my favourite shows on air & it came back to its roots by giving such heart-warming performances. The verdict from 'Now Hear This' reflects the impact it had on me as a viewer, as well as plot-related issues.
